MIL- Meditation Induced Lucidity

I have thought about it, yet dont have a specific method to follow. I am unsure if anybody else has any input on that sort of method. I used to be a little more into lucid dreaming and attempting astral, but lost my motivation for a while… but from what I remember I would usually do it in a system of relaxing myself, then visualizing a scenery or place where i wanted to go, then settling into that place, until i eventually fell asleep.

seems like it would work just great… but my issue was and still is that as soon as i fall asleep im totally unconsious to the fact that I am trying to accomplish something in the dream world, instead my mind just drifts like a regular dream. Only a few times have i acheived lucidity, but always quickly lost control…

I have attempted other methods, and despite my unsuccess with this way ive been doing it, it works better than others… What is blocking me??? help

if you are sitting in meditation you may become unconscious and incapable of thought however if you go into a dream you will know it is a dream because the quality of meditating and sitting will allow you to bear total witness with a clarity that cannot be had while lying down.

there had been a few times that my eyes began to go into REM and that I began to look through a dream-scape while dozing off and sleeping during meditation, but it was not stable or deep enough to last in any way.

this is not the function of meditation
