MILD is getting frustrating.......

I’ve finally bought a book from Stephen Laberge and it had a little guide on MILD…I’ve been trying MILD for a while now with no success and it’s starting to become a little frustrating…I know it takes a while for it to happen but seriously…how long is it going to take…

Basically my problem is that if I try MILD until falling alseep the concentration keeps me up…then if I do it for 10 minutes then stop, other thoughts are going to come in my head while I’m falling asleep. This is why I’ve been dying to get a dream mask, because it means you’re going to get a dream sign involving “flashing light” every night, problem is I don’t have the money to get one.

I’m not doing WILD either because I’m not comfortable with SP…what the hell is a guy like me supposed to do?

Well since you’re getting fustrated and you don’t like WILD. Autosuggestion seems reasonable, simply say “I will have a lucid dream tonight” or “I will wake up in my dreams” say it once or twice once you are in bed. Then go to sleep normally.
You might become lucid, you might not. But you get alot more cues than usual about it being a dream. The gurantee rate of it working are low but stick at it, it’s easy and capable.

I suppose there isn’t an answer for this, because we are all different. For some people it happens stright away, for some it takes a couple of days (ME! YAY!) for some it takes weeks and for the unfortunate, years.
