Muscle Spasms

I have been having these muscle spasms whenever i try WILD or sleep for that matter. It is really annoying and irratitating which actually happens out of the blue and not because, i dreamt that i fell on the stairs or something. Can anyone help me on how to solve this problem or how to reduce the chances of one happening? Thanks in advance

Wissam

I also have the spasams when attepmting WILD, but I generaly just accept them and realize that twitches and things of that sort are signaling that you are transitioning into a dreaming state.

The feeling when you are falling is called hypnogogic phenomenon and is a proved thing, many people ( I have talked to at least) experience it. The muscle spasms for me are even wierder. When ever i am in school and extremely tired I try not to fall asleep but if i do begin to I experience light HI and the actions I do in the HI relate to minute spasms I have. For example if in the HI I throw a baseball, my arm will spasm a tiny bit. For some reason it only happens in school but i think its pretty funny.

It is called a myoclonic jerk, I believe. I get it more often when falling asleep quickly. It feels like falling through my bed! Do you get it more often if you are very tired?

Hrm, i didnt realize muscle spasms were part of wilding. This actually explains alot. TY.

I start spasming and sometimes spasm so hard that I totally get distracted. I really hate it, but it helps me know im falling asleep.

I love that, where it feels like you’re falling. I usually get it when I trip in my dream or something, I throw up my arms to stop myself from falling and when I realize what happened I start laughing.

If you look closley i am not talking about myclonic jerks. I am talking just muscles moving and contracting without me allowing it.

For example : my finger moves out of nowhere
my foot moves for no reason

Yes indeed, many replies went deleted when the forum crashed and expecially some exchanges between wissam and me. I believed first it was myoclonic jerks, but they are no jerks indeed, they look just like a common problem when you’re not perfectly relaxed IMO and there are still some muscle tensions. So you have to relax those muscles more carefully.
