My first “Lucid” experience was the most surreal event in my life. I had recently watched a music video by the band “Foo Fighters” which was heavily based on Lucid Dreaming. I emediatly began researching this subject and was intrigued by it. That was a year ago and i was fifteen. I told my mom about my experience the next morning, sadly, she didn’t share my exitement. Most likely she didn’t understand my experience. I don’t blame her though, i mean, how can you explain the feeling.
I’m not sure which technique i used, but i remember lying on my side and feeling like my soul was escaping my body and i began to like… “have a seizure” or something. I was really exited and don’t remember much, just that i was in a castle like building with alot of rooms with people in them. It was all over before i began to experiment with my new found ability and potential.

LD’ing is rather difficult to understand to people who never experienced it. It’s normal, it’s rather paradoxal to be conscious and experiencing a world that seems completely real during sleep. 
It depends on the state you were in at the beginning of your experience. If you were awake when it happened, it was a WILD - wake initiated lucid dream - (or OBE if you believe in OBE’s). If you were deeply sleeping when it happened, it’s theorically a DILD (dream initiated lucid dream).
In DILD’s it’s rarer to experience the feeling of having his soul escaping his body, it’s more common during WILD’s. Now, experiencing WILD-like/OBE-like sensations during a DILD occurs sometimes.
sounds good ive only tried 3 times i havent got nething i got interested when i was looking up sleeping help and i got lucid dreaming the 1st time i got really close (at least thats wut the people on this site told me) but for now ive started a Dream log thing and im just hopeing to get one ive had some accidentals b4 i knew about it but now that i know i cant any
