So last night I was dreaming about being lucid, but I wasn’t lucid, but the dream was like it would be, based on what i’ve read and seen. I’ve never had a lucid dream, this is the closest I have gotten. The dream was that a friend of mine had told me a WILD technique, so I tried it and I woke up later on in my room. Except this was a FA, I was “conscious” (keep in mind this is all a normal dream) in my room but I look at my alarm clock and the display is kind of faded and it has some weird symbols on it. I look at my imaginary analog clock above my door (it doesn’t exist irl) and I look away and see that the hands are morphing as i’m looking at it. I hold my nose and notice that I can still breathe out of it. This is the first FA I had. A few min later I drift out of it and “wake up” again. I notice again that I just had a FA and it’s kind of starting to freak me out. I start to kind of panic and I fall back to sleep and actually do wake up this time, but believe me, I did check all of the RCs. Keep in mind this whole thing wasn’t lucid at all, it was like any other dream. This is the strange part: it was a pretend lucid dream since i’ve never had one and have been working so hard lately to get one.

it’s a shame that the lucidity didn’t kick in but you must be getting really close

“if you’re having a lucid dream, you’re probably dreaming”
thanks for the tip. may you lucid dream forever.
This is good. False lucid dreams usually over months of practice become genuine. Thats how it was for me, at least.
