Im am new to the site can anyone refer me any music i shoud listen to when i go to bed an techniques what i should do while i am listing to it. :help:

If you’re listening to music, you may want to listen to nonlyrical, calming music, and if you’re listening to music at all, you may want to do WILD and consentrate on the music instead of inner mantras, or consentrate on both an inner mantra and music.

My guess would be some sort of soft music, preferably something that reminds you of your dreams or dreaming in general.

As for what should you do while listening to the music, I would have to say that depends on what method you are using.

I am assuming you are using WILD. If that is the case than there are several things you can do.

One thing you can do is just listen to the music but don’t pay attention to it. Use progressive relaxation to get more relaxed. Then, as the music is playing imagine that you are floating down in pace with the music. Keep your focus on the falling. Soon you will start to feel your body falling asleep. The important thing is not to think about anything else except the falling. You will find yourself getting pulled into a dream fully conscious.

Good luck and happy dreaming

Years ago when I first learned how to LD, I just listened to Native American (Or Asian) flute songs going to sleep. In the middle of the night, I would wake up to the flute sound and it would gently put me back to sleep when I realized I knew I was dreaming.

It’s important not to stress about it, that would do worse. Just gently put on some soothing music (not too loud or too medium) and tell yourself 5 times (take deep breaths) “I am going to have a lucid dream. I will realize I am dreaming.”

Otherwise, click on “Home” check out the WILD. You may even like MILD better.

For some good electronic music, download the album: aphex twin - selected ambient works 2. The music reminds me of hypnogogic sounds, and is very calm and soft, and dreamy
