I tryed a WILD yestarday night and I wouldnt go to sleep I was count “dreaming 1, dreaming 2 etc)” But I couldnt fall asleep. How much time would it have taken Because I waited for at least 20 minutes, but nothing. I woke up about 3 and tryed to fall back to sleep to a MILD (I think thats how you MILD) but that didnt work either. Maybe I need some practice or maybe Im doing it wrong.
It sounds like you got it backwards. It is easyer to WILD after WBTB, and MILD works ok when you first go to bed.
In any case you don’t say how long you have been trying. Both techs. take time. I think that two weeks is about avg. here, but some people have been working at it over a year without success yet.
With WILD, I think that 15 min. is a good time limit. If you have been doing it for 20mins. or longer, you will probably be too worked up for it to work. WILD is a tech for people that go to sleep fast. If you normaly take more then a half hour to fall asleep, then WILD may not be a good tech. for you.
The only other tip I have right now for you is patience.

You mean you waited 20 minutes for the HI … Well, that time varies.
Now, the thing that works for me (I never had an LD due to WILD , BUT) is lying in weird position (namely, on my stomach) for some time, knowing that i cannot fall asleep in that position. So, I stay like this and when i feel like going to sleep, i change the position to a comfortable one. The thing is , at that point, the HI starts almost instantly
During this whole process , i DONT OPEN my eyes.
it’s important to have you’re mind set on lucid dreaming before you go to bed aswell…
