So any tips on attempting to have lucid dreams?
I’m going to sleep soon, anything i should do to prepare for that?

I dunno i understood that one right. If i did, you you want know how to get lucid in dream. I recommend reading tips on main LD4all page. Main techs are MILD,WILD,RC’s
And preparation thing… be positive ! do some RC’s and believe you will have a lucid dream. Motivation is important too.
Which seems to be the easiest technique to have a LD.
I just want to experience it before i really get into it.
If i’m not mistaken, it’s different for everybody. Some are better at WILD or WBTB and oters are better at MILD. Sooo i say start doing RCs and be sure to keep a DJ!

And i havent been able to remember my dreams for a while, seems like i haven’t even been dreaming at all.
start doing RCs in everydayu life. My big ones are when the schoolbell rings and whenever my phone rings i ask myself if i am dreaming (but i alwayss forget the schoolbell one). That ay if you are ever dreaming and you hear your phone ring or whatever your RCs are you will ask yourself and then do a RC (aka plug your nose and see if you can breathe thru it or try to stick your finger thru your hand, ect). Hell, one time my friend was spending the night, and i told him “my phone is off, so if you hear it at night your dreaming”. He wen’t into the other room and went to sleep. According to him, he was walking along and thought. wait a minute, his phone is off! (no phone rang in his dream lol) but then he woke up =(
I find MILD or WBTB would be the best for you 1.) considering your a (not being mean) noobie. 2.)They are the easyest.

I think i’m gonna go with the phone off thing, that sounds really helpful.
So when i’m in a dream, and i hear a phone, if i remember - “My phones off…” I should than attempt to walk through something?
You might also want to start recording your dreams in a dream journal. It helps to identify recurring themes of your dreams and then become lucid in them because you remember that you have dreamt about it before.
As for RCs, you can of course wait for some trigger, but I recommend also doing them randomly. That way you are not tied to specific situations occuring in your dreams.
Doing RCs when a theme about which you dream often occurs in WL is quite powerful for attaining lucidity frequently. So keep a DJ (did I say that before? ).
Well i have a DJ but i haven’t been able to remember any of my dreams for a while.
Last night i tried the " I’m going to dream, I’m going to remember my dream, and when I wake up I’m going to write it down" thing till i fell asleep but i dont remember anything.
And i also shut off my phones and told myself " If a phone rings, i’m dreaming"
Okay, of course keeping a DJ is not much use if you do not remember any dreams.
You can “cheat” a little by using WBTB. I for instance set an alarm to 5 or 6 hours after going to sleep. I do not even have to stay up very long so my usual sleep cycle is hardly influenced at all. I just go to the bathroom or take a sip of water. I find dreams are much easier to remember if I have only been sleeping for a short time since the last conscious phase. This can also be combined with MILD/WILD.
Every time your phone rings, do an RC (think WAIT am i dreaming?) it works best if it happens a few times a day. Then turn your phone off. Then when you hear a phone ring in ur dream you will hear it and think “wat, am i dreaming?” and then you should do an RC, such as trying to put your finger through your hand, or trying to breath through your nose when it is plugged. Or, if your like my friend, you could be dreaming, hear no phone, but all the sudden think “wait, HIS PHONE IS OFF!!!” lol my friend is weird.

I’ve been having trouble sleeping lately, and I was wondering if it would interfere with my dreaming if i took something like a benadryl to put me to sleep?
Tried the wbtb thing last night.
Didn’t work. I don’t even remember dreaming, let alone remember what i was dreaming about
