Well, let me introduce myself a little, i just have like a week knowing about lucid dreams, but I used to have this dreams often without know this name. I used to dream, and some times when my dream turns very dangerous or I got a big trouble in dreams, I remember that Im dreaming, and stop with magical powers my troubles or fear sources. And how do you notice, I have a good dream recall, cuz every morning is so often that I remember pieces of my dreams.
This is fine and fun, but reading about LD I figured out that I could make more, like fly (I cant remember fly in my dreams ever) so I try some techs, like WILD. But I got some troubles, I used to sleep again so fast, I can wake up from a dream at night, and I tried to keep myself focus to turn my dream to lucid, but before that I can’t convice myself, i lost in my dreams again. There is some way to try to delay that I sleep so fast?!
I believe you are asking for tips on the wild method…
I would say that wild is a difficult technique to master, and will take a bit of time. When I attempt to wild it seems to be effective to “watch” the pictures in my head and try not to force images along. I also pretend to interact with the images, like if I see the apple I pretend to reach out and grab it, and maybe bite it, and if it turns into something else i let it happen, eventualy I am actualy doing what I am visualiseing.
And in order to keep focus I view the images as if they were a dream. Like if I’m eating the apple I would think of it as a “dream apple”.
If you don’t like my method above, the best way I know how to stay awake is to do math in your head, and pausing every once in a while to bring your focus back to what your doing.
In other words remind yourself that you are about to have a lucid dream.
I’m not sure I perfectly understood what technique you’re talking about. I suppose it’s “dream reentry”. Do you mean that you really wake up then try to enter the same dream again?
There are two possible methods.
When you wake up during the night, you can stay in your bed. Don’t move at all, don’t open your eyes, just wait about ten seconds and sometimes you’ll see the beggining of a dream. Then you can enter it lucidly. That’s “dream reentry”. This technique works very well if your previous dream was lucid. Some people can make it work when they go out from a non-lucid dream. If nothing happens after thirty seconds have gone by, it generally won’t work. Then, as you fall asleep very fast, you can use another technique, like Hargart’s induction method (HILD) for instance. This method (or counting methods) could help your mind to stay focused.
Falling asleep very fast is said to be good for WILD’ers. If you think you fall asleep too fast, you can practice WBTB, that is going out of your bed, waiting for about 5 minutes, then going back to bed again. Your mind will be more aware.
Anyway, as you have natural lucid dreams, I think that you should try a DILD method (autosuggestion, reality checks, MILD, finding your hands) instead of trying to WILD. I’m quite sure you’ll have good results with DILD.
Ok, thanks for the info, and yeah I tried something like reenterin to my previous dream but lucid, i’m still having troubles. When I waked up, I go to the bathroom and try to spend some time awaked, when i come back to sleep Im still fallind down so fast, but my reenterin works with the exception that i am not lucid.
