What is this NILD technique? Maybe this is usual newbie topic, but I haven’t found any description about NILD! And Lucidity Institutes pages are so soggy…
Nap Induced Lucid Dream. Also known as Wake-Back-To-Bed. You wake up earlier than usual. Say, 2 hours early. Stay up for a little while. Say, 15 minutes (until you’re no longer groggy). Then go back to sleep.
Dunno why it works, but it does work well. All newbies should try it.
You can also try staying up for several hours, then taking a nap in the middle of the day (I think that’s more NILD).
Thx for quick answer, Dunlar. But more questions will follow… . What’s the difference between nild and mild???
Oh, no… You people are going to get me in trouble aren’t you?
Try lucidity.com/LucidDreamingFAQ2.html , section 3.2.4 for MILD, 3.2.5 for napping. I think the biggest difference is that MILD is more complicated…
