When the word “nightmare” is heard, it usually means that somebody spends his dreams running from monsters or driving cars with no brakes, or something like that, I want to say, there are some standard things people usually meet in nightmares. I just wonder what was the weirdest thing you ever saw in a nightmare?
I ask such a stupid question, because this morning I had a terrifying dream where I was chased by a gang of crippled kittens craving for my hamburger, which I even did not have at the moment! Well, “crippled kittens” sounds not very menacing 
, so I’ll try to describe them. The black one was already dying, but it wouldn’t prevent him from running after me. The red one was small like a mouse. The brown one was crushed flat. The gray one had a big brain outside on his back, and his head was like an empty cup with his face at the bottom… 
When I saw this one, I understood it was already too weird, but that moment I was just thrown back to my bed. No LD again… 
And sorry if you this theme has already been discussed somewhere… And if you don’t see any theme at all here…

lol the weirdest thing probably was the nightmare where i was afraid of our washing powder box!
i was fighting a huge-monster-rat, and it could change into different things. and it also changed into our washing powder box…and it came towards me and i totally panicked and started stabbing it. rotfl. in the dream i was really really really afraid of it and it scared me alot.
haha but now everytime i see a washing powder box i cant stop laughing 
I’ll search in my DJ, but I’m afraid I’ve not such funny nightmares ! 
Aren’t the Simpsons enough? 
In fact it’s more from real life. Once I really was chased by a very nice kitten, and it was absolutely impossible to run away from him, because he would run a few steps forward and stop in front of me, so if I had tried to run, I would have treaded on him… And I could not just take him with me, because my mother has allergy to cats!

I have EXTREMELY strange nightmares.
One, I can remember my neighbors coming over to my house, I could see them out my back window, only they were GORILLAS.
But the weirdest one of all involved a little wrapper from one of the popsicle things that you freeze at home. It came out of the garbage. But at the time, I was really scared when I woke up.
I have strange dreams.
+gg+ im not sure…it might have changed back to a rat and eaten me…but i stabbed it before it could do me any harm 
When my point of view jumped from character to character (there were three in total).
I became the girl just as she turned turned into the monster (picture The Ring). So, I staggered forwards as I transformed, vomiting (twice) as I clamered down the stairs. The man I was after turned to stare at me and I jumped on him and pushed my hand through the flesh on the side of his head between his top set of teeth and his jaw.
Does that count as a non standered nightmare?
Haha thats sweet. I once had a dream like that. its alot more fun being the nightmare then being chased by the nightmare 
Okay here’s the most nightmarish scene in a dream I’ve had recently:
A man wants to get plastic surgery done, he’s like one of those people who gets those bone implants on their skulls in order to make it look they have horns, but this guy is more extreme. He wants the plastic surgeons to mutilate his face and add bone to the point where his face would be replaced by a monstrous beak, like that of a parrot, except it would be the size of his head. He sits down in the chair, and the plastic surgeons go to work on him. As his face gets more and more deformed and the beak starts to emerge in shape, he changes his mind and decides he doesn’t want to have look like a monster, but the doctors ignore his muffled protests and they hold him down to finish the operation. He is powerless to stop them, and finally he gives up his resistance, and just sits there and lets it happen to him, tears dripping down what’s left of his mutilated face…
I woke up extremely creeped out.
What a disturbing image…Now I’ll get a nightmare too!
My worst nightmares usually contain somebody/something being eaten/converted to food against their will. I’m usually paralyzed and mute, and have to watch. (No, I’m not a vegetarian, its more the struggle against the stronger power that disturbs me)
On the more unusual side, I can get very strong emotions from people opening my letters or eating my food.
My nightmares usually involve me killing my friends but what really disturbs me is I talk about it in my sleep 
I tend to wake up before my nightmares get really scary. Sometimes I just know that I will get a nightmare and I wake myself up. And usually later that night I suddenly wake up and I’m in SP and still scared and I can’t move but I usually reach the bedlight that I have but it doesn’t work so I get even more scared and finally I wake up IRL.
I’m pretty sure that I’ve had some strange nightmares when I was sick and had a high fever. But since I haven’t really been that sick since I started LDing I can’t really remember any of those nightmares.
