well, I was visiting my dentist at saturday. He gave me anesthetic, local, novocaine type I think.
There was no big reaction, I didn’t feel the pain, but my upper jaw wasn’t totaly in spasm, which is regualry happening after anesthetic. So maybe anesthetic gone into blood through some local arthery or vain.
When dentist began working I was trying not to think of what was happening but to relax.
I relaxed and some kind of spiral going round appeared in my mind. As this was happening I felt like losing grip, and I started to fight for staying conscious, sweating and hardly breathing, in fact breathing but like having on air. Dentist noticed that and stopped fixing my teeth, he was doing two upper teeth 6 and 7. I drank a little water and it was better.
Maybe I should just let this to happen, to pass out.
Now I am sure it was better this way. I never ever lost conscience, and I don’t want that.
But if I was to go into that spiral??? who knows. Anyone had gone through that, like turning around.
Position on the chair with had set back maybe produced dissorientation.
i kind of had a same thing while real relaxed and keeping my eyes open trying to WILD
the inside of my eyes actually felt like they were caught ina spiral… there was a spiral there but it wasn’t really “perceivable” due to the “unconscious” way I perceive hypnagogia… when I noticed what was going on and came out of it it was pretty disorienting, but it wasn’t a lucid or even “conscious” event.
simlar things have happened to me when getting gas mask anesthesia, but both times that happened there were like thousands of black dots and it felt like sandpaper, and i’d try to move, but i couldn’t… then nothingness…
it’s kind of scary, that’s pretty much exactly like SP.
If you have the opertunity to use a gas mask again, count to ten. You wont even reach it before your alseep.
I never experienced these feelings. But I usually give up moving and focus on sleeping.
Did it look like this?
I’ve seen it many times. IMO, It’s God’s Fingerprints.
One time when my dad had Nitrous oxide at the dentist and all of a sudden he couldn’t breathe and he was about to die and he was struggling around and they had to stop and he was like all disoriented and they were asking him if he were alright. I guess maybe he had too much nitrous and not enough oxygen.
Not to be rude or something but you werent really close to an NDE from what i read. Go read some stuff on NDE research on the web to get an idea what it’s really like (even to come near it).
