What’s the use of those Soul Gems anyway?

I needed them for a quest, but I found the items list so now I’m fine.

Now my problem is: I added this quest item “Vampire Cure Potion” to give to the Skingrad Count, but when I ask the argonian for appointment, the game “thinks” I’m not carrying the potion, even though I recieved it from the lady in Drakelowe already! :grrr:

Problem could be that I added that item already and when I got it again the game must be thinking in reverse.

Soul Gems are used to hold the souls of your enemies to recharge your magic gear, and create new ones. The Gem capacity varies, so do the enemy. First you cast “Soul Trap” then kill the target before it wears off. If you have a Soul Gem of the size and is empty, you capture the soul and can use it once to recharge one magic gear on you. (A daedra shrine gives you a Star Gem that has infinite use.)

If you just need to cure vampirism on your self then all you have to do is drink the potion. If you’re needing it for a quest or something, I guess you’re just gonna have to do it the hard way.

But I can’t drop the vampire cure potion I’m to give to the Skingrad count, as it’s a Quest Item, and I can’t use the Player.RemoveItem ######## code either. :help:

Are you supposed to give it to the count as part of a quest or something?

Yes.

Oh ok. Well your on your own then :content: , sorry. Guess you have to do it the hard way  .

How? The quest is inaccomplishable.

Idk, I haven’t done it. But I think there’s a way to obtain a potion in the game. Try a walkthrough.

i have it.
but it runs at like…9 FPS at best and thats with my graphics overclocked so far i can smell it going critical and for that reason…can only play for about 10 or 20 mins.
besides i can’t do anything with the main story so i just screw around. the game crashes  if i go into that house where the guy is you give the amulet to so…i just generally steal suff…wreck stuff…use cheats to go on a rampage and fry anyone who gets in my way…the usual

Try checking a Walkthrough, the vampire cure quest is known to be buggy.

Should have known… The game’s as bugged as nothing else…
