Oblivion help topic

When do I get to do that Lucid Amulet quest? I’m so wanting it!

This topic was splitt of from the Oblivion topic in Centrtstage

I got Oblivion a few weeks after it came out. I’m now playing an imperial vampire, i’m head of the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves Guild. There is a mission in the Dark brotherhood where you have to kill four people who are all locked in a house, for the bonus you have to do it with no one watching, but i’ve found it to be the best quest in the whole game.

haha, i tottaly rembember doin that quest too, that one was one of my favs in the whole game, besides the dark brother hood guild quests

I got bitten by a vampire just yesterday, and believe me, I freaked out when I saw that message, then the “Vampirism added. Vampiric attributes added.”

Tips for cheaters: The console can godmod your character. Hit the “|” key and type "ModPCAttribute or ModPCSkill <skill/attribute>, ##. Example: ModPCSkill Armorer, 99 and ModPCAttribute Strength, 99. “psb” adds all spells to your char.
Remember, it adds the values, not set them. If you add too much they reset down to around 10 or 20 or to default levels.

Btw, anyone know where I can find the Dark Brotherhood guild? I so need to slay those vamps before they add more crap on my character. :crying:

Eh, i beat the game a while ago, but i honestly preferred being a vampire. So many benefits. You seriously become so pwerful. I mean, there are drawbacks, but for the most part, it added alot of fun to the game.

It adds a lot of creepiness to my char. I mean, bloody eyes and pale skin. Everyone keeps saying “Have you been well recently? Your skin looks a bit… Off…” and “You really should get to a healer. You’re looking rather pale.” at me when I first approach them. Some blurt out obscure rejections when I try to converse with them. Some enemy NPCs even won’t start combat when I approach, only when I do a first strike at them. :crying:

the best is wen vampire hunters start coming after you randomly. They are so hard to beat, even one of them. I had to take on like 3 at one time once, and i ran into this inn, and it turned out there was another vampire in there who helped me out. That game rox :content:

That still doesn’t answer my question.

The dark brotherhood? To get into the guild you simply need to kill someone innocent(or maybe kill anyone?) and it will say “forces that you cannot see have observed this death” or something like that, and they will approach you. Other than that, you cant get to the dark brotherhood as their HQ is only accesible if you are a part of them. But if you are wonderng where their HQ is, it is in the town farthest right on the map, and is in the abandoned old house that people say are haunted.

In the abandoned house in the town furthest to the East? Wouldn’t that be Leyawiin?

Well, after you kill someone who hasn’t attacked you first (ie innocent) you have to sleep somewhere, then a guy will come and explain everything to you.

I’m already infected, and I found a well that states it’s an entrance to their lair, but I don’t know where to find their key.

I love this game! I didn’t have the money to buy it, so I took a bunch of old Xbox games and traded them in for the PC version of the game. My computer can only run it at the “low quality” setting, but it still looks pretty impressive to me. The only drawbacks seem to be a few jagged lines, and a slightly slower framerate outside. Has anyone here played WoW and Oblivion and can compare them?

Vampirism and joining the Dark Brotherhood are two different things.

I own the game and can run it smoothly, but I still don’t like it. It isn’t spectacular enough for my taste and the battles are boring me.

:help: I downloaded the Construction Set, and I’m making 2 empty Grand Soul Gems for the vampiric cure. How do I edit the ID value to a number I can remember to spawn inside the game? /:help:

You know, there is a cheat to get the vampire cure. just search for an item list for Oblivion that shows their spawn ID numbers and scroll down to Vampire’s Cure (I think) under potions. That’s what I did anyway.

And just how do I do that?

Forget what I said. I started over yesterday with a new character and it’s pretty good so far.

Ok, I found it for you  : Press the tilde (by the Esc key) to open up the command console and type “additem [0009812D]”, nix the quotations of course. Hope this helps  .
