Ok well, so last night I tried the WILD method with like the MILD method as well to go into LD And I don’t know if I was on the right coarse. So I told my self I was going to have a lucid dream and I was going to stay consious(sp?) when I entered it and I was lyinging there and I relaxed my body with the tense-breath in, breath out-relax thing. And so I was relaxed. And then I tried to keep my consiousness(sp?) while trying to sleep, well soon my body felt like weird like it was being pulled in all directions randomly, not like my limbs were being pulled but like my skin almost. And well I then had heard a really high pitch chirp. Then thing is I know it didn’t happen from anything in my actual surrounding. And well I had no idea if I was going crazy or if I was on the right path and so I had no idea what to do next. So um, I guess I don’t know what I’m trying to ask other than if I was on the right track and how I will know if I am.
That high pitched chirp was HI. I hear things like that all the time, even when I am just trying to go to sleep normally. I don’t know about the skin thing really, but it sounds to me like you were falling asleep, but you were much more concious through it then you have ever been before.
Oh. Does that mean I’m starting out on a good path to Lucidty? Cause I have no idea. I just started yesterday night and I wanted to know. And also how will I realize I’m doing it right? D: I feel horrible, I have to be guided through everything
You can try to “roll out” your dream body out of real one. If everything goes well, you’ll find yourself in for example sitting on bed in dream. You can also wait. Then things ,surroundings will start to form, a first without details. Later there will be more of them. You will find yourself inside of it.
And dont bother yourself, this forum is good place to ask question like that. And how will you know, if you wont ask ?
It sounds like you are trying WILD. Are you doing it with WBTB? If not you may have problems to get much farther with it. If you do WILD when you first go to bed, you tend to go into a deep sleep phase where most people don’t dream, or don’t remember their dreams. Then you can do everything right, but not be able to enter an LD, or normal dream for that matter. If you want to do WILD, then it is better to sleep for about six hours, wake up for a while then do the WILD, or do it when taking a nap durring the day.
As for the other questions, what you said sounds like HH. What you see is HI, or visual HH, and what you feel is somatic HH. It is normal, and can be very real. Don’t worry, just try to remain calm and wait until you get to the point that you are having dream like HI, or have SP. Then it depends on what works for you how you can get from there into an LD. Read the WILD topic for more info.

So how exactly do you “roll out” of my body with the dream one? And the last two nights haven’t gone so well. I tried to do the MILD WILD and WBTB and they were flops… I mean worse than the first day.
Well I am not the best one to tell you how to roll out of your body because I have never been able to do that. From what I have read, you have to be in SP. That means that you can not move your real body, so when you roll, crawl, or whatever, you are moving your dream body. Some people say that you just roll over like a log, just as if you are moving your real body, but because of SP it doesn’t move. They say that esp. in the begining, it can be hard to move your dream body out of your real body, and the first time or two you may snap back into your body, or be pulled back into your body, and wake up. You should not worry about that, it is normal, even if it is a bit frustrating.

If you are rolling out of your body wait until you feel the onset of sleep paralysis, such that you are unable to move. Then try to get a feel for your dream body, its great if you can lift up a hand or something first. After that just roll out of your body in either direction. Alternativly you can have a claw help pull you up out of your dream body.
