Hello LD4all! Well, it’s me, that strange guy you probably don’t know about.
Anyway, I have some trouble with flying. When I try to do it, I just can’t, no matter how hard I try.
Now the weird bit:
I used to. Perfectly. In fact, I think the first thing I did in a full-fledged lucid dream was fly (That and shouting “WOOO-HOOOO!” .)
Anyway, anybody have help?
Annoyance:
In a lot of my lucid dreams it’s night. I feel less safe at night. Yeah.
Stephen LaBerge suggests trying to “swim” into the air, since it is more natural to us because it is something that we have done in WL. It worked for me, in fact it’s the only way that I can leave the ground so far…
Flying somehow comes to me very naturally in dreams. The thing is that I don’t think about ways of flying I just fly. Imagine a place where you want to be and fly there. Don’t worry about how or how fast just take up and away.
Don’t think about your body because it’s not physical, imagine flying in dreams like Peter Pan does it, with a happy thought and that’s it. And always have on your mind that’s dream and that you can do that no matter what!
Same advice, it’s your dream and you’re the master! If you don’t want dark/night then just demand the light, say: More light! - with attitude!
maybe you are putting too much pressure on yourself and unwittingly jinxing it. don’t get too upset or frustrated. something I’ve noticed that makes it easier for me is to kind of hop around like a moonman, taking big steps that lift me off the ground like there’s less gravity, eventually I can get a nice push off the ground and launch myself into the air.
