It appears onion helps with insomnia. Since I’ve been ill with the flu my grandmother made me drink onion & garlic tea. Besides making me stink it also appeared to help me sleep to an extent. are you sure it wasnt the garlic? Garlic is well known for it’s medicinal properties, and I recall that it is used for curing insmonia among other things.
