The most fantastic news all week. People who were angered at Sony gimping the PSP’s functionality through laughable “updates” can worry no more. These guys have reverse engineered the Jigkick battery Sony itself uses to fix bricked PSPs and put it into some bootable software that any user could employ to downgrade and unbrick their PSP and regain that lost Homebrew functionality. The only requirement is a spare battery and about a half-hour.
