I’m sure there is an easier way to get a lucidity image to be permanently on top of your screen no matter what windows application is loaded but I don’t have time to search around to be more efficient. If you have an easier way please post it. I’m a tree shaker and not a jelly maker etc, etc etc…
The first thing I needed was a free application that would make any window remain permanently on top. The software I found is so convenient I load it every time I start my comp and I found it here, it’s called Nail It:
freewareweb.com/cgi-bin/arch … =1&ID=1746
Then I uploaded my desired lucidity image to my free server and put it into a html document and I sized it 100 x 100 pixels.
I used the following simple code:
Note that IMG SRC is the address of your lucidity image. I will host your image and your launcher if you don’t have a server, I have plenty of free space!
Then I used the following program to create a launcher so that it would be displayed in a no-nonsense mini-pop-up window:
javascript.internet.com/generato … indow.html
On the filename you choose the full address of the html document where you placed the image.
Ignore all of the checkboxes except the resizable one, check that.
The pixels doesn’t matter because it’s just for the launcher window.
Choose that it should be opened automatically.
You can paste the entire code as is into its own document (I called it launcher.html) and save.
When you want to open the image you just run the launcher program and then resize the window that pops up so that it is just the right size for your image. I actually have mine load every time I start my comp.
I work from home and it is so kewl to see my image sitting there while I’m working so I remember to RC and shore up my affirmations etc.
Have fun.
