Hi y’all,
Can anyone tell me how I go about creating my own animated emoticons? (I guess it’s easiest to use a program like Photoshop?). What format must they be saved in etc?

If you’re asking how to make a smiley on a graphic program, then I definately don’t know 
But after you made it, you’ll have to upload it somewhere (I recommend Photobucket, which generates the tags for you to embed the smileys into forum posts).
You should save it as png, jpg or gif, preferably png. NEVER save an internet image as a bmp or a pic. Just don’t do that, ok?

The spell looks a little gammey to me, I might redo it.

are you going to post them in the your smilies thread too in garden of creation? or are you waiting until you have made a larger collection?
Photoshop is good to make still emoticons, but last I checked it didn’t have the ability to animate them.
You’ll need something like animation shop from JASC or similar and the file type must always be gif for animated emots.
