Problem with sleep paralysis: can't progress to LD

Whenever I get sleep paralysis, I get a little excited. Then I think to myself to just allow this hypnagogic imagery to go on until I get to a dream. And I think then what? What to do? I remember to start visualizing a dreamscape, but can’t be successful at “jumping into” the scene as someone has described.

But here’s the thing, the creepy sounds I probably can handle. But then comes the intense vibrations. It starts in the head. Like, I can really feel my head vibrate, quite uncomfortable as I allow it. Then the vibrations proceed to my shoulder area. This is where I can’t handle it! It’s like a SUPER tingly feeling. Very uncomfortable! It’s almost tickling O.O I had to wake myself up.

I really wonder about this. Does one have to experience these vibrations when going for LD? As everyone knows, sleep paralysis is also the way to achieve OBE, wherein vibrations are really felt. I had one accidentally before, when I was still not knowledgeable on these things. That’s kind of when I started researching on OBE’s.

Anyway, my question is, does one go through these vibrations when going for LD? When SP starts, really, what next? lol. Do dreamscapes appear by themselves or is visualizing more effective?

Whenever I get SP, I think, will I attempt LD, or OBE? lol maybe that’s why there’s no progression.

Responses are most appreciated. ^^

Yes, SP is also used when WILDing.
These vibrations are common and many dreamers get them.

Unfortunately, ignoring the vibrations is the only solution.
Experienced dreamers already got used to this.

When you are experiencing HH, just…do nothing.
You mustn’t move or think about anything.

Just focus on the imagery.
But don’t focus too much, since it will keep you awake.

So, just don’t think.

Good luck

Oh, and welcome to the forum.

oh! that’s right! that’s just what I fail to do–not to think. lol
thank you very much. I’ll try the next time I go into SP
