Is a lucid dream really like real life? Meaning, I can walk around and control myself and feel my emotions? Can you go anywhere you want/do anything you want in a lucid dream? How do you travel in a lucid dream?

Anyway you want. I myself usually either do one of the following. Fly, use doors, pull out a black disk and jump into it, use some sort of portal( i.e. a mirror/water), or just walk to where you want to go!

A lucid dream is realistic in the sense that it “feels real” whereas a normal dream usually has that hazy quality to. It a lucid dream is more…well…lucid. 
There’s something really amazing about feeling like everything is real and yet seeing impossible and amazing things happens right before your eyes as you intend them in your dream, some lucid dreams can even change your life, I had one or two in particular that had a huge effect on me, for sure. I’ve always found it interesting how the incredible clarity of a lucid dream and the ability to control it arise at the same time.
As far as what you can do in a lucid dream and what you can create…that’s all for you to decide.
