After reading for a while about people using audio clips to gain lucidity a thought came to me: what if goverments were to secretly play audio propoganda in our sleep, we’d pretty much become slaves! Democracy would be destroyed, as hopeful leaders could just use this secret form of propoganda to make people vote for them! What do you think?
It would be impractical. And people would notice if goverment people came romping into your house with a CD player telling you to vote for their party.
Plus, even listening to lucidity tapes wouldn’t force you to become lucid; you have to want to first

I think the TV is subliminal. Gets their political agenda’s in action. Studying advertising is a scary thing. Physchology and advertising can make someone very powerful.
I think about this sort of stuff all the time. What if the government/aliens/whatever is controlling my mind or blinding me to something(I’m not serious, just contemplating weird sh*t), and I have came to the conclusion that if something like that is going on, we’ll probably never know, so it’s really no use worrying, we’ll linger and sit by blissfully ignorant.
and another thing… even if we knew… what do you think how many people would do something about it… how many would take the red pill and how many the blue one…
Well, everyone knows that more sophisticated people are more difficult to manipulate than sheeple. Individualism is troublesome for overbearing totalitarian states and their methods. Now, I’m not saying western democracies are totalitarian, but our societies are manipulative as all hell.
I think a highly advanced awareness of oneself could help to moderate outside influences. If esoteric things like psychic abilities and astral projection are real, they could be used toward that end. And keep in mind, well-funded agencies could conduct far more efficient research on the subject than lone wolves like, I imagine, most visitors to sites such as this. Who knows what they’ve discovered so far. As for lucid dreaming, I doubt it could be used for manipulation, unless shared dreaming is a possibility.
I’d say that it’s perfectly healthy to be suspicious about other people’s agendas at any given time. Going slightly off-topic, I see that some members of ld4all preach global peace, friendship, and brotherhood. I sincerely hope you people know better than to actually live along these lines. A much healthier attitude is this: “If you want peace, prepare for war.”
