Question about visualisation

Do you look at your eyelids, or think in the back of your mind the visualization? Or both? Why?

I think in the back of my mind. Anyway, this is a good question. I’ve been mening to ask it myself.

I visualise in the back of my mind. I’m guessing that it’s one of my hidden beliefs that when my eyes are closed that I can’t see. SO since I can’t see through my eyes I guess I kinda see through another place in my mind.

I used to think of visualizations being like a screen on your eyelids, but as I’ve gotten more practice, I’ve realized it’s in your mind… But you still “see” it. I don’t know how to explain it… But practice makes perfect!

WOW. interesting… i have this problem now…

when i’m looking for visualizations… i’m always “physically looking”
And when i “see” something… my eyes move to get a clearer picture and i lose it…

Anyone know anything that might help me “see” with my mind instead of with my eyes?

I think seeing with your mind is like when someone asks you to remember something you saw in the past. Like, if I tell you to remember what your backyard looks like. Also, you can try looking at a wall and visualizing something while keeping you eyes open.
