Can you encounter people that too are dreaming, and mentaly effect the person in real life, like meet their dreamperson and talk to each other or go on an adventure, and then talk about how much fun it was later at school in real life?
Or maybe deliver a crucial message via D-mail (Walking up to them and reminding them something)
I’m a skeptic, but it would be great. The fantastic dreams you could have as you continuously outdo each other in the creation of fantastic experiences. Gee, used the word fantastic twice, oh well.
The gracious lucid dreamers who are capable of doing this alot could go from dream to dream making people lucid. And the evil ones creating nightmares. You gotta admit it that would make for some interesting dream battles of good and evil on a bigger scale than just the one dream. Heroes and villains.
I’ll have to say that i disagree with this. You may be able to have a lucid dream where you dream somebody is with you, but i highly doubt that the two people will have the exact same experience. This is simply because i believe that dreams happen solely inside your head, and you aren’t misplaced into an alternate reality or something like that. Sorry!
While in a dream I can think that a dream character is a person I know, and I am disappointed when I wake because when I tell them, they know nothing of the experience. But… perhaps they just don’t remember Or not
Well-- Brain waves right? Isn’t everything we do registered as some sort of electricity in our brains?
There have been tests -seen on discovery channel briefly- that machines even, can be influenced by our thinking at them to do something specific, e.g. a random robot made to go in one direction more so than another…
So it could be a possibility that our brain waves can get out of our skulls and travel about-- in dreams perhaps our brains can register other people’s brain waves of similar sorts and even convert them to visuals for us in dreams, if we’re lucky right?
Assuming my friend speaks truth, I have had 2 or so SDs already XD… But again, I think that specific and reliably lucid dreams would be hard to communicate with, maybe not impossible but difficult… (Concidering we can know what others want, even without seeing them, or if not seeing them, hearing them sometimes, if we know the person well enough :D~)…
But then again I’m just a kid(safe excuse)-- I mostly have no idea what I just said anyways XD~
There are devices that can be controlled by thought. Simple devices, like a Tetris clone, but thought-controlled nonetheless. bmes.org/WhitakerArchives/news/moran.html
There y’go! See? Brainwaves can be recorded by electronic devices… so why not other brains? XD
If it comes from it, it should be able to pick it up, yah? ^^
Wierd Talon! I was just thinking about brainwaves and other brains picking up on them. I was going to say that but I thought it would create a big discussion hehe. A brain might be able too, and that might cause a similar dream experience for both. It’s a theory.
^^ vERY COOL–
( Sorry for caps-- my laptop is weird…)
But still… it happening reliably would be difficult, as it would be very specific circumstances-- or at least the ability of the brain to decifer those waves reliably quite a bit would be questionable! agh
So I guess… shared dreams can’t do that unless the two people have
A) Reliably lucid dreams
and
B) Are so very used to each other’s brain waves that those could be specifically picked up-- XD
Maybe a little over the top but it rubbed me the right way, couldn’t help it!
Man, what an interesting war that would be
“Uh Mr. president, we are receiving a multitude of reports that say many citizens firmly believe they have been attacked in their dreams by terrorists potential led by Osama Bin Laden.”
“Those dang Terrorists. Begin The manhattan project II: Dream Nuke. We’re gonna nuke those Bastards”
Later one of the soldiers was seen twitching in his sleep during a Dream Terroist attack, another soldier comes in exclaiming “MAN DOWN! MAN DOWN!”
Years later after the war, a worldwide agreement was made banning Dream Warfare and the use of Dream Nukes.
