Questions/Help with Lucid Dreaming

Introduction

I can remember as a child having a lucid dream but didn’t realise what it was. when I was around 10 I became interested in lucid dreaming but never tried to have one now 4 years have passed and I have become interested again to the point of wanting to have a LD. I’ve been studying and reading about Lucid dreams for around a week now and have become interested, I’ve tried to have one several times but due to having a bad Dream recall then it didn’t happen. I’ve been using some Theta binural beats now while not experiencing anything while listening my dream recall has improved and I can remember one of my dreams from two days ago almost perfectly.
Now onto the questions

What is the easiest way to LD for a beginner?
I’m scared to LD because of sleep paralysis and some of the hallucinations you get with it(Dont want to describe in detail but hopefully some one knows what I mean) how can I overcome this?
I want my first LD to last aslong as possible how can acheive this?
Is there a technique I can use to LD in the day ?

Any :help: will be appreciated and I know some of these questions have answers on the forum but I wanted my first post to have helped me achieve lucidity :content:

Lucid dreaming is skill that’s need to be learned in order to have lucid dreams. You can’t learn something in a day. So first of all you need to patient and confident.

If you don’t have that and if you rush things then you will not succeed, you may have a lucid dream or 2 but nothing special.

There are many techniques but first you need to have a good DR. When you start to remember dreams you can start using techs. I would suggest MILD.

Don’t be afraid of SP. You are only afraid of the unknown. It’s in our nature. To become familiar with something you need to study it and experience it.

When I started my primary tech was MILD but I was also experimenting with WILD. It was fascinating to me and it still is. Once you figure that SP experience is scary only if you make it scary then SP won’t be scary any more.

Thanks for the reply it helped a lot especially about the fear of the unknown it gave me more confidence to try lucid dreaming. I also know it takes a while to learn lucid dreaming thats why I have being practicing Dream recall to improve it I’m going to actually start using some LD methods and hopefully I can achieve an LD in a months time.

You’re welcome. Just be patient and persistent! Once you start having lucid dreams everything’s gonna become easier and remember, stay motivated! :content:
