Hi guys ive just started practicing lucid dreaming at this stage I have a pretty poor dream memory. However after one night of using the dream journal I have improved last night I vaguely remember parts of 3 dreams including one where I almost rc’d but sadly woke up just before I got my hand to go through the other one.
Anyway I have noticed that when I try to remember what it was like to be in the dream it doesn’t seem clear it kinda feels like everything I see is dark and blurry (best way to describe it is what it looks like when you squint your eyes till they are almost closed and look around like that)
So my question is do the dreams become clearer - easier to see in as your recollection improves?
In short, yes. As your dream recall becomes better, your dreams become more vivid and real. I’ve been working on my dream recall for a while now with a dream journal. I can actually smell and taste stuff in my dreams. The dreams are sometimes more “real” than real life. It is very cool.
A week ago I thought that I dont dream often. As soon as I started my dream journal I realized that Im having 2-3 dreams at night. At the beginning they were very blurry but with each night you convince your brain to remember them better. Persistency is definitely the way!
I agree Teodora ive only been using my dream journal for 3 nights now the first night I remember a tiny the end of one dream the second night I remembered parts of another and last night I remembered 3 dreams they were very blurry and I still only remembered parts but I cant believe the speed at which I have improved.
And Jayhaze ive heard quite a few people say food tastes amazing in dreams looking forward to trying it.
Well, it tastes amazing if you think its going to be amazing. Like, I got lucid and grabbed a pineapple off of a tall tree. I thought it would be good. It was hands down the best pinapple I’ve ever tasted. Another time, in a normal dream, I was being force fed clam chowder It was horrible.
Most deffinitely ! And if you keep thight on it and don’t let it go (that is, writing down each night/morning all you can remember) you’ll even get a LD - vividness triggers LD’s. Good DR triggers vividness. Practicing and having will triggers DR. It’s all linked and IMO it’s the best way of having LD’s (by DILD).
