Lately I’ve been having quite a few dreams with radio controlled (toy) airplanes in them. I’m always the one controlling the airplanes and I’m having fun with it.
Does anyone know what this could mean?
Maybe you should buy a radiocontrolled Airplane or a chopper? 
I suggest a chopper because you can fly them in small places.
An E-Flite Blade CX2 is a good choise if you should buy a helicopter, because it’s really easy to fly and hover.

it means your mind and your dreams and aspirations to be free are very much in harmony.
If it was my dream, the being in control would seem symbolic. Control and power without any dangers since you are remotely controlling something.
It sounds as if you are not “controlling” the airplane, but playing with it. Perhaps it means you feel open, and perhaps, it means you believe you can do whatever you want without risking anyone or anything.
How do you feel when you play with it?
Only you can really interpret your dreams successfully. Think about how it made you feel and how it corolates to your WL.
An airplane is a vehicle. That can fly. A vehicle could be your body, and flying is commonly symbolic of freedom. So your vehicle is free. But it is not your true body, because then you would be flying yourelf right?
What if you look at it this way. In life, your vehicle is our body, and your real self is not the physical body, but your mind, or soul or whatever. Perhaps you feel that you are free in your waking life, at the same time knowing that, it is not the real self you are playing with, only the vehicle. And it is the real you who holds the control of the vehicle. You see, it is not the vehicle that is free, it is you.
