Raw Food Diet

What do all of you think about the Raw, living foods diet? I’ve been on it for about three months now, and I’m so entranced with the physical and psychological effects, I’ve decided to attend living light culinary institute a few hours north of where I live and train to become a raw food chef. Perhaps earn my living teaching raw classes and catering. Check it out: www.rawfoodchef.com

I’ve never heard of this diet before, but I LOVE raw fish and seafood, especially oysters. Anyone who says they’re disgusting hasn’t tried decent oysters before, I swear.

I eat raw beef and raw tuna steaks, I love it.

I’ve never had raw oysters though I never had oysters or clam in my life.

Oh, you definitely have to try oysters, then!! :content:

I recently went clamming/eeling and ugh it sucked.

We got tons of clams, they are about the size of your palm and you can’t eat them raw I think.

And my uncles played a mean trick on me, we went spearing for eel and I asked if we go in the water to spear them. They said yes “if I want.” Well I said okay and I went into spear me some eel.

I had never speared in my life so I’m down there with a spear jabbing at an eel. The eel attacked me and took a huge chunk out of my abdomen.

That’s a great story but An eel? A chunk? I just can’t see a small slimey snake like aquatic creature taking a “chunk” out of anyones abdomin. Are you sure it was a chunk?

Oh man, this is a message from the great!

I’ve tried living on a raw diet for about a week. I felt the best I’ve ever felt in my life! I also had NO body odor whatsoever. However, I have a lot of difficulties not eating some really yummy cooked/store bought foods.

I’m definately going to check out your website. Raw food diet feels SO good! I’d love some yummy recipies!

kappakaeru, It’s quite difficult to break eating habbits isn’t it? ; ) It’s totally whorth it though. I’ve been raw for about three months, and I’ve never felt better in my life. There are all sorts of delicousness recipes too, and you can pretty much convert any cooked recipe to a raw one: like chocolate chip cookies. Check it: eatraw.com/detail.ap?PRODUCT_ID=ER763

I made a recipe for raw chocolate involving a green star juicer. You simply take equal parts of cacao bean and almond, processing them into a dough, mix into that some agave nectar and shape into squares. Raw chocolate is known to have a certain kind of psycoactive effect: rawcacao.com/ soooo… I wonder how it affects the dream cycle.
