RC reminders.

I’m now back in school and I know that RCing is hard when in school because I’m usually an active student so I can’t have a watch in school that would beep every hour I already asked my homeroom teacher so are there any good ways to remind yourself to RC without having to make it distracting?

I’ve tried writing RC on my hand but that never worked and I always forget to RC when I see Dream Signs. I guess if I found a way to be reminded to RC more I would be more aware of dream signs.

when im at school i usually forget to RC as well. so i used to write ‘dream’, ‘reality check’ and things to do with dreaming all over my pencil case. but i had to throw it out because it broke.
you could try RCing when you see your friends since you’d probably see them every day. when i do that, if they’re not looking i do the nose check otherwise i just look at my hands. sometimes i forget though, but thats when teachers and desks come in handy :mrgreen:

When trying to set an intention to RC, I tended to use a long-term aimed technique. Whenever I thought about my goal I would reaffirm my intentions, telling myself I would RC the next time I saw whatever my DS was. When I would see it for the first few times, I might not remember, if I didn’t remember at the time, but remembered afterwards I would RC when I remembered and think to myself. I’m happy I remembered my intention to RC when I saw that object, now I just need to remember sooner. Turning it into something positive and letting myself feel I had taken a step towards my goal.

I would usually find the time between seeing my dream-sign and remembering to do an RC would gradually reduce. I would also remember more times to do the RC. Eventually I would reach the stage where I thought about RCing more or less as soon as the DS appeared in reality.

It’s easy to get frustrated when trying to remember to RC, but getting frustrated won’t really help you in my opinion. It’s just a case of remembering there is no hurry, if it takes a month to train yourself to RC, then it will take that time, but doing it calmly will make it more comfortable, getting angry at yourself will just increase the chances you’ll want to give it up.
