Recurring dreams

Hey,long time no see everyone! Anyways, this morning my Mom was complaining about she keeps waking up at night then falling asleep and having the same dream.Of course im like “Dang shes so lucky” because obviously I you keep having the same dream, its easy as pie to have a LD. Im going to try the “wake up for 1 min,go back to sleep” method. ( similar to WBTB ) tonight. But does anyone else know another way to have a recurring dream?

P.S-- On a side note, last night It was 2 AM when I went to bed, and when I did as soon a I closed my eyes, this weird spiral came.It was sucking me in, and I think I was on the way to a WILD but i got too scared.

P.S.S I hate Chris Crocker

I used to get recurring dreams - it was pure luck.
They don’t come so often now. My favourite recurring dream was one set in the street near my house, at a T-Junction, where I could magically pick stuff up using my mind.

I think you’ll find that’s “PPS.” [post-postscript]

Thats an interesting idea. I only heard about lucid dreaming a few months ago, though I had a good long series of reoccuring dreams just a little before. Only on the last one did I realize I was dreaming. It wasn’t too uncommon, because I’d had “lucid” dreams naturally before; I just never thought to try and control them. Thats my goal coming here  .
The last one was different from all the others in place and looks, but the “theme” or scenario was almost exactly the same. I suppose if you have more control over this than I do it may be a fantastic idea.
In my case however, the dream was more of a semi-nightmare. I realized I was dreaming, and it drained me. I was tired of it and I didn’t want to deal with it. The strength I needed at that moment to fight just left me with the realization. (and being a trained martial artist makes it worse) You may want to either rethink this or make sure that your reoccuring dream is a great one. good luck!
