Remembering the music of dreams

So… tonight i dreamed about beeing at a concert (non lucid), and i remember some details about the last song, like the fact that it was in german, that it was a love song (sort of), that it was rock etc…
but i just can’t seem to remember it well enough to replay it in my head once awake.
my dream recall is getting better right now, i filled 2 pages of my dream journal (it’s a small one), i think it’s rather ok, but music just doesn’t seem to get stuck in my head (this also happens in my other dreams)
I know of people who compose music in their dreams and then recreate it in RL, so i was asking, how good does my dream recall have to be to do this?
extraordinary or just average (for a lucid dreamer)?
is there any way to improve it specifically for music?
how is it for you?
thank you for your attention

It is a lot easier to remember music if it is in the last dream of the night. Music fades very quickly, and it can also feel like the dream music uses a different scale or “language” than real life music does. Something that sounds completely awesome in a dream, can sound disappointing when played IRL.

I have sometimes recorded humming on my phone directly from bed. It feels awkward to hear my own humming, but the simple sound can make the multi-layered dream music come back easier.

well, that was the last thing i dreamed of that night, i woke up in the middle of it (however i think i lost a bit of it while i was just laying in my bed)

awesome :content: nice to see that
