I heard it last night and it finally sunk in today, the local rock station played pantera and damageplan all day long in honor of this man,what ever could drive anyone to take a life away is beyond my thoughts,when a person decides to do this they do not realize the people they are hurting dime had family, friends, and fans and to any one who knew him personally my condolence, all the fans in a way knew him many felt he was like a brother to them our a childhood friend,god knows I did. Insanity penetrates every part of our daily lives but we remain strong. In the events of his meaningless death of course their will be tears shed it is only natural, but we must not look upon the fact of his death with sadness,of course their will be a mourning period< but we should look back at his life and smile at the wonderful gifts that he left us
to many he touched our lives with his song lyrics and his guitar.
His life cut short, he is no longer with us. Though he did leave us with a message that rings true ,and that message is live each moment to the fullest and thats exactly what dime did.

That was nice, words that i couldnt say. Im just in shock a little, it just really sucks, b/c there’s so much that man had to offer us, a very sad time for music, and for sure, Pantera will never return. I just cant beleive how the situation happened, and it makes me think towards the future when bands play in clubs (if). Dimebag, you will be missed

Dimebag Darrell influenced my life today due to my friedns showing me pantera. God among men died and we must never froget his legacy,his life and his guitars of power. well this is relly sad man gonna go listen too cemetary gates,hallow f*cking hostile and some other songs. well hopefully vinnie paul recoever from critical condition and lives for his brother. We cant lose both of em. May u Rest In Peace Dimebag Darrell.
