Rock history has been written!!!

Its now official the monster rockers of LORDI spanked the opposition really hard in the euro vision song contest! For the first time in history hardrock has proven to be worthy a place in history.

Allthong Hardrock Halelulea is IMO a rather lame song its a huuuuge step forward for rock!

This will open doors… dors of total über pwnage!

You forget one obvious fact.

The Eurovision song contest is RIGGED! Always has been always will be. They vote for each other so I really wouldn’t call it history. They could have come out and sang, “i love doodoo” and won.

I don’t watch the ESC normally, I just watch the voting it’s usually more entertaining anyway.

No that rigged thing is moderatley true. But only neigbours vote for eatchother. But finland kiked ass… big time!

It might not be one of the best songs, but i agree… Damn nice with a change in eurovision. I am so tired of the slow and crappy pop and balades.

The norwegian one was a perfect example of a crappy song…

Well, I didn’t particulary liked Lordi’s song, I think people judged their clothes/masks and act more then they judged the song. Which really wasn’t that great =|

I 'm not a big fan of Hard-rock in general, although I think there os some good stuff. But seriously, this group was laughable…

Still, I’d rather vote for them than for France… ;p

The song was pretty poor. I only heard it at the end since I didn’t watch the contest. But damn, if that’s a win for rock I feel sorry for rock.

Just been listening to the UK’s entry.
/me gags.

YEAH, LORDI!!

I agree that they didn’t have the best song, but it’s a battle won for rock, and most of all, it shows that the people who watch/vote in Eurovision contest, along with Europe, are ready for some changes! Something new!

I’m glad they won.

Supported.

The others are so crappy …
Lordis image is just… LAUGHABLE !

I know i know , says the boy that like wigwam

But anyways , i mean this is a big step forwards , but IMO did WigWam do a lot off beforehandwork on the voters last year

Anyways , The kids want rock !

But i mean its a symbolic step forward. Im a few years we might run with like Arch Enemy or some other band wich rocks! And make the ESC a event about music not about crap.

Yay Lordi! Finally a winning song that’s not some crappy pop or disco song :content: And they got the most points anyone has ever got in the history of the contest!

I wanted either Lordi or the “We are the winners” (the ones from Lithuania) to win, mostly because it seems like neither of them took the contest too seriously. It’s supposed to be a fun thing, not the end of the world. “We are the winners” just cracked me up, it’s nice to have a laugh in the middle of all the boredom and all the horrible songs.

Whether you like the song or not, it was original. The high score makes it clear that everyone wanted something new in Eurosong, and Lordi did give them something new!

We are the winners were cool.

SOmeone laughed of that guy to the left ? :content:
