Rubik's Cube

Anyone here do the rubik’s cube puzzle. If so post your best time.

Mine would be 1:23.46, Im trying to learn all 80 algs to OLL and PLL  . Once i know those hopefully I can get under a minute.

Bah! A truly evil invention. I solved the 3x3x3 cube, ONCE! Took me weeks!
I’ve never solved the 4x4x4, it’s still sitting scrambled in a drawer somewhere!

I have never reached further from one side

Never measured it, but I think I solve a cube in about 2-3 minutes. I’m not using any “speed-cubing” algorithm with 100 move combinations to learn though.

I solved it by taking the stickers off and re-applying them

I dont want to use the formulas that excist to solve it.
I wanne do it on my own lol.
Have troubles with the last part of solving the cube.
Well ehm if i find a box with years of years of extra time to spent i go solve the cube.

Beautiful puzzle and toy!

LOL! one time I was really board so I pulled one out and got it done in about half an hour! I’m so ingenius.

Well I got it on… and today it’s… so it’s around… five years and counting .

my brother can do it in 45 seconds, and I tryed to learn, but gave up.

I did one in 80 minets, dont laugh at me!!

lol, i always get bored and give up…

twenty day and three years

Is there competitions for rubix cube or something. I knew someone in highschool that could do it really fast. Now that I know there are just algarythems involved, that makes me think less of him. I am good at memorizing formulas and thinking fast when it comes to that stuff. I imagine I would be good at it.

I have it… since last year… I only managed to solve 2 sides with 2 wrong colors on one side and completely wrong on the final side  I was so close… but couldn’t solve it without messing other sides up  So I end up keeping on making 2 sides right, but other sides wrong… then with different sides… still the same results.

so… 1 year and some months… still counting  (I gave up and it’s on my shelf gathering some dusts  )

LOL I fooled my parents into thinking I was a child genious when I did this once. (I was like 6 at the time…) If I do it the right way then I’ve never solved more than 3 sides at a time, but I can usually get 3 sides fairly consistantly.

Yes, there are cube competitions though you often have to go out of state for them, and I got my record down to 58 sec!

Wow nice one

It took me three weeks once. Never tried again afterwards :content:

Today I heard it’s possible to solve a cube it in max 20 turns from ANY position

My best time is around 2 minutes  My cube got worn out from using it too much. I intend to buy a proper cube some day. And I really should learn “speed-cubing”. Have you got a handy link on you? I like solving it and building a pattern on it at the same time, Makes things just that slight bit harder.

I’m going to got dig mine up now.

I think the best I’ve done is one side… Guess I’m just too impatient, and I don’t even know where my cube is anymore either
