(SDP) Step One : Finding Your Problem

This is where we will see what you have that needs to be improved. We are trying to find your weaknesses, and trying to take the highest weakness, and start from there.

The way our “lessons” will go is something like this [vaguely put]:

-Dream Recall
-Normal Dream Incubation (Creating Awesome Dreams)
-Normal Shared Dream
-Lucid Shared Dream

(NOTE: THE LUCID INCUBATION HAS BEEN TAKEN OFF FROM RECENT HAPPENINGS. IT MAY BE TOUGHT ON ANOTHER FORUM RATHER THAN THIS ONE. BUT FOR NOW, SHARED DREAMING IS OUR MAIN CONCERN)

Of course…we will take care of the issues from top-down. Our lesson schedules will start at the phase two, which is Normal Dream Incubation, only because few people will have bad Dream Recall [That’s based off of a guess  ]. A teacher will take care of those with bad Dream Recall…and it will barely take time away from you.

Now how do you know if you have bad Dream Recall? Well…for a good outlook on what you dreamt about, you should be able to remember 2-3 Dreams a night at least. If you remember just 1, you have somewhat of good Dream Recall, but need improvement. If you have 0…well, you need lots of work  Now if you have one off day where you remember little or few, thats ok. Just a minor dry spell

Anyways, like I said, a teacher will assist those who need help on DR. While that occurs, the other teachers will begin with phase two with the “students”. Once the DR student(s) have completed their task, and can finally remember dreams on a daily basis, they will have to sort of speed run through what they have missed, with the help of the teacher of course. But no worries, improving DR will take little time, and the student will barely miss out on anything they’ve missed, because simple subjects will be handed out at the beginning of the program.

Ok then. The training will begin this week (depends on time management). What we need to know, is who has bad Dream Recall overall? If you are one of those people, please reply to this subject. If you want to reply to this subject other than that reason, then I ask you only post if you have a question/concern, don’t want the topic to get too crowded

Let the dreams begin!

I can remeber one dream a night(never needed more then that before) But I could use a few pointers.
I do keep a off site DJ I update every day so I already have that down
Other then that most of my dreams are lucid and I have no problems with anything else.

Ok thats not too bad…I can give you a few pointers and fix some things up.

First, make sure when you wake up, your DJ is in arms length. And when you wake up, don’t move at all. Go over what you just dreamt, and repeat the whole dream through your mind. If you can’t remember your dream, try and think of what would you have dreamt about, to try and spark a rememberance action. Once you’ve gone through your dream and have it in your head freshly, grab your DJ and write it down (yes you should have a written DJ).

If this doesn’t improve anything at all…then we are going to have to do the WBTB method to increase Dream Recall. This does take effort…

When going to sleep, set your alarm clock 30 min before your first long REM period ends. So in approximation, set it 5 hours and 30 minutes after you fall asleep. This will cause you to wake from that dream, while you were still dreaming it, and your mind will be fresh as water. Go through the process stated above (remembering and going over the dream in your head, then writing it down) and then set your alarm clock for an hour after you fall asleep…and so on and so fourth. Keep doing this until you normally wake up. This is tiring, and can make you pretty frustrated. SO you can either choose to do that, or shorten a bit to your custom setting…OR, try one more thing…

Use the MILD tech to remember your dreams. Before falling asleep, keep repeating to yourself a mantra…something along the lines of “After my next dream, I will remember what I dreamed about”. That’s kind of a crappy mantra to say…so you could think up one easily. Anyways keep trying this, and your sub c will take this in to matters…and follow your orders. And boom, DR up and going

With whatever tech you use…always make sure you do the process that I stated first (that is go over your dreams in your mind straight away when you wake up before writing them down). With all this combined…you should have better Dream Recall in no time. Hope this helped!
