This is the second time it has happened in 3 months or so. I got out of the shower and pulled down a towel out of the closet and suddenly saw sparkles of light around me. I couldn’t focus on any of them because each one only lasted a second or so. There must of been 50 of them or so. Little white lights like fairy dust or glitter. I fluffed the towel again to see if it was coming from the towel but it wasn’t. The other time it happen I was in my room making my bed and I suddenly saw all these little lights. I thought I was seeing things until the same thing happen again the other day and it was definitely lights. Any guess to what this might be? 
That happens to me sometimes a few seconds after Ive woken up and am still lying down.
I figured it was some sort of hypnagogic imagery…
but I think its really strange if you were in the shower, seeing as thats only supposed to happen when your kinda inbetween waking life and dreams.
I’ve seen christmas lights on nonexistant cacti on a long stretch of road somewhere when I just woke up in the middle of the night on a bus.
I was wide awake and I was trying to touch them but they disappeared so fast. They where all around me, floating through the air kinda like dust but lights.
Every night wehn I closed my eyes I have white flashes
It could be related to blood pressure … you should get it checked at the doctors.
Hmm, Ive just seen this once and it was when I camped in Poland, I was drinking water and saw sparkles fly around in window, but when I stopped drinking they disappeared. However, I saw them again when I started drinking again 
I get this alot in the morning like my eyes getting adjusted to the light but never diring the day
…i can see them when ever i want…hope you guys are not afraid of them…
