Semi Shared Dreaming Experience

One of the most common topics for threads I’ve noticed lately is shared dreaming. It’s incredibly interesting but most people doubt it’s possible. While reading through a discussion on this, I remembered an experience I had several years ago similar to shared dreaming but not quite. My best friend and I had the exact same dream, but on different nights. (She dreamed it first).
It was on different nights to the best of my memory. Either way, we both viewed the dream from our own POV, and I don’t think I saw my friend or vice versa. So it wasn’t what one would expect from a shared dream.
My experience was this: There was some sort of fair/carnival in the forest, and I entered by the golf course. There were lots of different tents, and many of them had themes from books that my friend and I both read (ie. Mortal Instruments and Harry Potter). There was a yellow double-decker bus riding around, but it’s sides weren’t made of metal, they were just cloth. My mother and step-father were both in the bus. It toppled over, and I freaked out and wanted to help. My mom and step-dad ended up uninjured. There was lots more to the dream with dark supernatural elements in it, but that was the focal point.

Now, the next morning I got on Facebook and immediately told my best friend this dream, because it really disturbed me. She said she had the exact same one, and explained it from her point of view. Now, hadn’t seen my step-father before this incident, but described him perfectly to me. This was my semi-shared dreaming experience, I suppose I just felt compelled to write it.

I don’t know, but this is really great to experience. I do somewhat believe in shared dreaming and I don’t know, if I had some kind of prove I would be so happy. So many things you can do with the person you want…

Well, I guess I should firstly start to share my dreams in order to see if I shared one with someone, right?!
