I’ve been LDing for almost half a year now and the one major ploblem that I’m having is short LD’s. Specifically when I WILD. I’m almost at the point were I can WILD sucessfuly as long as I’m in REM but they are always short. An example of this is last night when I woke up from a dream and did a DEILD and went into a dream almost instantly. The first thing I did was rub my hands to stabalize it, but that didn’t help, it was like a 5 fps dream .
It ended shortly after, and after that I had a normal dream (wasn’t finished with REM). Has anyone had this happen or has any advice? Offering cookies for rewards .
8 hours and then do a WILD? o.o I haven’t tried a WILD after that much time, but i will definetly try it now xD. although i don’t think i can fall sleep again after 8 hours of sleep.
Oh and regarding the short lucid dreams. From my short expirience, stabilization is key to maintaining a LD. My first 2 LDs where really short like you mentioned, but during my third one i did something i read somewhere i can’t recall hehe. I rubbed my hands just to get the feelling and the visual of them, then i started taking my clothes off. This worked for me, myb it can work for you aswell.
Unfortunatly the hands thing is what I tried… but the close ones I’ll have to try that hehe… It’s weird cause I did a WILD this morning but I thought it failed and went into a perfectly stable ND… mabey I’m getting to excited.
