Should I write down old dreams?

moved to stuff forum due to main question in the post. :moogle:

Hi… i’m new to LD and I’ve only just started my DJ but I still remember plenty of dreams I’ve had in the past and I was wondering if it is worth writing them down? and also is there any Dream Journal software?

EDIT: I may have just realized, I may have put this into the wrong catergory… Sorry :meh:

No. It isn’t worth writing them all down but you may wish to fully record some of them. Also making a list of recurring themes would be useful.

I do have this recurring theme and that is that like 80% of my dreams take place or start at my school and I left school nearly 3 years ago and haven’t been back since so how do I tell myself that being at school is definitely a sign of me dreaming.

Hmmm… I have to say it is worth adding. While it may not help DR, all my ND’s are precious to me. I have written down old ND’s and I think they do represent a part of me. Some of the dreams have stuck with me forever, and others were just fun :content:

If those past dreams were interesting and enjoyable and you feel that it is worth remembering, then you should write them down. :content:

I think you should write them down as it seems to be like you said every dream you have is involving your school which you no longer go to and that should be a sign that you are dreaming and writing down all of the dreams you remember and then going back over them might tell your subconcious that being at school means your dreaming.

Put as (very close at least heh) I would :content:

I find that writing down old dreams is fun if I remember enough of them. I don’t know how helpful it’s going to be for increasing dream recall, but it doesn’t hurt.

It’s certainly not useless, especially if those dreams were interesting by your standards.
