Since I started LDing, I cant LD.

Yes, weird title eh?

Ok, starting about 3 years ago, I knew I was dreaming every dream, but I couldn’t REALLY control it, just a bit. I could control my actions, but not the environment etc. Anyways, I didn’t take any advantage of that. I just followed the dream as if it were an ND but then knowing I was dreaming so if I were to be killed, it wasn’t a problem or something

Soooo… Since about a year ago(?) I lost that “ability”. I no longer naturally know I’m dreaming. On really rare occasions, I had an ND where I knew I was dreaming (So it was an LD!) but I couldn’t control it, but now - since I consiously started LDing - I don’t have anything anymore except for plain old NDs (still havnt had my first LD )

Anyone got any clue? Maybe some tips to retrieve my natural LDing?

any common dream signs?

It sounds like you already have had quite a few lucid dreams. Albeit low level ones, but lucid none the less. You just were not trying to become lucid. Right now it sounds like you might be in the middle of a dry spell which is some thing we all get ( even the most advanced dreamers) and it is the worst kind of torture. However, another thing that does happen to all of us is that the dry spells do always go away. Some times it is solved by returning to the basics (keeping a DJ, doing RC, etc) others take a brake for a while yet still others will see their dry spells vanish as quickly as they started.

(IMO) It is important to have healthy sleep habits and keep a DJ. Also IMO drugs/alcohol are lucid dream killers. If you use, try not to before bed.

It might be interesting to find out if you changed something when your LDs stopped. E.g., you moved to a new home, changed your sleeping habits or your diet, or started sitting in front of the pc for hours a day. Anything. Could be very valuable for others here as well if you find something.

Hang in there TweaK. I’m currently going through a dry spell as well but they always end.

I see, thanks. My sleep habits are healthy I think, I sleep about 8-14 hours when I can sleep in, and about 9-10 hours when I can’t. I hardly do drugs (Marijuana), and if I do, never before bed. Mostly somewhere around 3~6 in the afternoon and when I go to sleep the effect is mostly gone. I do alcohol even less, only on parties and stuff (But then I get really drunk xD)

Thanks. You good luck too.

Ugh, it’s nothing that I’m aware of

WoW that is a lot of sleep. Once you get you LD’s back you should have some nice long ones with sleep like that.

What ever you do don’t get discouraged and don’t give up. Your dry spell will end.

I don’t. I’m too motivated to give up anytime soon.
Thanks.
