Sleepy in a Lucid Dream...?

So today I got my second (or third since I got two short ones)
lucid dream and it was really weird…

When I first got lucid (nose breathing RC) I felt like I had to blink cause my eyes hurt, or close them… I really have no idea why but I did so.

When I opened them up, I performed a RC and it worked again. I was in my bed and it was EXTREMELY hard to get up. I couldn’t turn to my right and I struggled to have vision / etc. After what felt like 1~2 min I finally rose out of my bed. I knew it was a dream because my living room was HUGE.

My lucid dream ended when I tried turning my computer on :meh: the second I pressed the button I snapped out of my dream.

  1. Why does it feel like I have to blink? (My eyes hurt when I get lucid for some reason)

  2. Why was it hard to wake up from my bed even though I was lucid…?

Why no one replied this one?

I hope I’m not doing something wrong by replying it but, for me, it seems a good question.

It’s normal that we feel tired or sleepy while we are dreaming, because… we are sleeping, and we sleep to rest. Then, it’s normal to feel tired, specially during the first REM cycles. That’s one of reasons WBTB is very recommended.

Your eyes probably hurt probably because you are tired. Also, don’t be afraid of light while in a LD, it may also be psychological.
