Okay, I watched scary movies with my friends last night. I went to sleep later on last night and I started to have a nightmare. Now, it wasn’t about what I watched. It was about a bunch of desks clashing into eachother while a violent storm raged outside. IT SCARED THE DAYLIGHTS OUT OF ME!!! I don’t know why it, it sounds so stupid now that I think about it. And I was lucid too, I knew it was a dream, but it still scared me to death for some reason.
they are very very bad for you and worse for society.
but yeah, i have been terrified of silly things in my dreams too.
(like Captain Hook standing completely still in the middle of a shopping mall, which traumatized me and made me phobic of him for months)
i was terrified from wing blowing through a window in a dream when i was young. i think that when the subconscious wants a nightmare, anything can be scary enough. if you usually get nightmares from scary movies, they could be used as a way to become lucid when you recognise the nightmare
