Ok, first off, this is one strange thing that happens to me when waking up from a dream. When I wake up, I hear a buzzing sound as the vision of my room comes to me. I need explanation of that. Also, in a dream i had recently, I got up from a fall from 2 storys high onto CONCRETE and checked my hands, they weren’t bleeding. Suddenly, I get a white light that flashes and screams “YOU ARE DREAMING” to me. Then I get lucid. The flashing light, it affects my vision and makes things clearer for me and I get lucid. Can anyone please explain the light that makes me lucid and the sound while waking up? Thank you.
I think it’s your subconscious… You succeed to tell him that you want a LD.
Oh…but I still need more detail of what your talking about, dagto, and I still need an explanation for the buzzing sound when I wake up, in detail. Please
well i can’t explain you why you have a “buzzing sound” when you wake up because i didn’t have one… maybe it’s the temporary paralysis which is a normal thing.
But i can explain you why you saw a light. i think this is your second “you” which materialized in a sort of a light thing. Maybe did you fell something strange ?
Maybe an old member who is more advanced than i am can answer you with more detail. But you do not have to be afraid of it ^-^.
It’s hard to say… the mind can be weird 
it’s like asking why you always dream of X. If you are trying to induce lucid dreams it may as well be a way that the idea of LD’ing is coming into your dream, a way your subconscious is trying to help out 
The buzzing sound is common when people WILD, it’s just random noise that happens when you are on the threshold between sleep and wakefulness. Some people hear buzzing, zapping, ripping, wind or water running, or even whispers. Just normal HH
