something...called me

OMG OMG. I am realy scared. I was just surfing these very forums a moment ago when I got a call… I picked up the phone and there was just silence… I could hear silence, so then I said “Hello?” an almost whispered voice repeated “Hello?”…silence. I once again said “Hello?” the voice replied “Ya”…silence. “I think you have the wrong number” I said. “I think” it repeated…silence. then it hung up… I am scared. I am alone in the dark at night. Mayby it was just some wierd form of audio hallucination, mayby.

Chill man, it was probably just a wrong #. BTW sometimes when I talk on the phone I get this electronic echo of my voice if the person hung up/ got cut off.

Hey, I get funny phone calls like that too, but it’s nothing to worry about. Normally I’m usually just annoyed by people like that calling.

After I wrote my original post I checked the list of phone numbers that recently called. (on my cord phone). It said the last call I had recieved was at 8:00 (pm) I got the scary message near 10:00 (pm).

That happens to me a lot. All it is is somebody calling the wrong number (sometimes I also get similar calls from people’s mobiles when they’ve redialed accidentally and don’t realise it’s on). So don’t worry about it. After all, the only thing that can come through a phone is sound, anyway!

A call from the future or past changing causiality in this timespace!

Gaah! We are so doomed!

hm, nah seriously probably a prank call/wrong number :content:

Could just be a random prank call?

get out of there!! I just traced the call…it’s coming from INSIDE your house!!!

hehe anybody seen the remake of “When a Stranger Calls”?

I hate Prank Callers

press redial and ask if they called lol

When I pressed redial it called my grandmother…

I just got a new sig, rank thingy and avatar!
everyone rejoice!
:grin: . :cool: . :tongue: . :cool_laugh: . :happy: . :content: . :smile: . :wink::eh:

Yeup, sounds like a crank-caller. But…where were they calling from? The Other Side…an alien spaceship…whoooooo

Lol, Bendrummin58…I’ve seen the preview for that movie

Wouldn’t you have wanted to press *69 to get the number of the last person who phoned you? (USA) Using redial will get you the last person you dialed.

Here you see the phonenumber of the caller on the phone itself, unless this person has a hidden number for some reason.

I dont answer hidden phonecalls myself, because that is usually a seller or something.

I get this ALL the time. I did some research.

It turns out that most of the time, it is either a prank caller, or a machine. Many telemarketers use machines now to automatically call you. When you pick up the phone, it will log the time and date of the call into a database. That way, the business knows when you are home. By doing this, the telemarketers maximize their chance of selling something when the REAL employees call you.

To prevent this crap, just mash the # key. It tends to screw up their programs.
