source of some tricks for LD

I was actually wondering about people not mentioning Castaneda as a source of information and inspiration.
I believe he has lot;s of interesting ideas about lucid dreaming and all around it.
One example.
He says there are “scouts” in dreams,especially in dreams of people that are able to get lucid.
Those scouts are supposed to be different form of life…
Inorganic Beings.
My personal experience with one of them (I believe)
went as follows.
I decided to find the scout and was looking around.
The way to find them is to look for something extraordinary in the dream, something somehow out of place.
And so finally I noticed little Maybe 9 years old girl with blue dress and red long hair.Immediatelly I felt it was her,so I came towards her, took her to my arms, carried her for a while and then put her down and asked her to
take me to her realm. She did not answer but insted she flew away.
Now, what was the most interesting about this was the
feeling I have had while carrying her.
It was just like holding…lol…something strange that can influence your mind and body in a very profound way.
The next day and some time after I missed her a lot :sad:

So, yeah :cool:…good old hippie guru Castaneda…I truly believe he has some neat tricks that are worth to be explored…

Speaking of missing DCs, I had a dream once where a DC died, I didnt know him from real life, it was just a DC. He died in the dream, and I woke up feeling sad for a few hours after the dream.

As for emotional responses to DCs I one had a dream and my friend had done something really brave and for the next few days I felt some feeling of deep respect for him even though I knew in real life he was a bit of a coward.

I reckon the people not mentioning Castaneda give no inspiration. Just kidding. I was actually posting some thoughts about Castaneda’s ideas some time ago. That did not result in much discussion though.

You were lucky to bump into a scout, I can’t find a single decent extraordinary thing in my LDs. Did you do any extra effort to find it/him/her or were you just looking round for it? Have you tried pointing your index finger to that girl?

Hi All…

I havent had a decent LD yet although I have experienced Castaneda’s Art Of Dreaming. For those of you who are experiencing LD’s, you should be able to summon whats called your Dream Emissary, simply by calling for them. Apprantly they are not able to lead you astray so you can ask them anything! Maybe a way to find your dream scouts… Good Luck!
