SP with lights on?

Pretty weird experience a couple of weeks ago. I woke up to have a shower then I layed on my bed because I was physically exhausted(I usually am when waking up) and just stared up at the ceiling with all the lights on. I kind of had that bored feeling like I was waiting for something to happen or knew I had to get out of bed. I stupidly ignored it and soon I was in SP with all the lights on. The ceiling got blurry and was starting to flash and swirl while I was paralyzed. It seemed like it lasted for only a couple of seconds but when I snapped out of it I looked at the clock and I was late for school

Has anyone ever tried this or it happened to them?

Doesn’t matter if the lights are on…
SP is a mechanism the body uses so you won’t move during sleep…
The body and mind are communicating and if the body thinks the mind is asleep, it puts itself in paralysis.

but couldn’t the lights help keep the mind awake?

Whatever helps you ^^
