Okay so I have been practicing my dream recall for the past few weeks now. Since early December. I would just like to know if it is normal for my recall to be great some days and not so great on others eg. On Dec 20th I found a peak in my recall where I wrote an entire page and a half on one single dream. But over the past 10 days or so I have seen a significant decline in my recall, being able to recall more than one dream on some nights but not very much detail at all. I have been sick over the past week or so and my sleep has definitely suffered because of it but I have been making sure that if I don’t get 8 solid hours I take a nap during the day to catch up. I consider myself highly motivated and set my intentions on waking up after about 5 hours and doing my recall regimen, staying still, keeping my eyes closed and doing my best not to let any distracting thoughts hinder my ability to remember my dreams. I guess I am just losing my motivation with feeling like hell all night long. But I’m hoping someone can tell me that this is a normal occurrence and I just have to wait out this cold to get my recall back up to par.
Edit: I have been taking B6 vitamins as well as melatonin to try and offset the effects being sick is having on my sleep.
