stabalizing dreams

First of all I owe everyone on the forum a massive thank you for all the help I’ve received as finally lucids are becoming frequent and its down to you!

I am having one problem however and its staying in my dreams , I nver seem to think to rub my hands or shout lucidity x100 or whatever. I was just wondering if there’s anything I can do to remember to do this or even ensure I do this ? thanks

It’s what the forum is for  To help each other become lucid and everything around it.

As for your question, I am having trouble with the same thing as well, so I may not be so very helpful, but what you could do is write this sentence “The next time I become lucid, I will rub my hands” (or any other technique you want to try instead of rubbing hands)

Write it in your dream journal for example, and read it every night before going to sleep at least 10 times.

I’m sure someone with more experience will help you even more with this. I’ll keep an eye on this topic since I have a little trouble with it as well.

Yeah i know but i think in comparison to other forums it seems to be the most helpful/friendly

Thanks ill give that a try!

And if I find a solution ill be sure to tell you

What I like to do to help me with my lucidity is to keep a goal/progress journal. (I’ve got a topic on it buried somewhere in Quest for Lucidity. You can search it with the search bar if you’d like.) In it, I’ll write basically anything that relates to my lucidity. I’ll write about my DR from the previous night and what I thought of it, whether I was lucid or not and what I thought of that, and I’ll write down my goals. The big thing is goals.

I find it helps me to be more lucid when I actually have set something that I want to accomplish. Along with a task or action that I want to complete, I will also write down if I want to have more clarity in my dreams, more senses available, etc. It may help you stabilize lucidity or clarity if you write it down. I guess it’s more like a form of intention setting. It’s like writing something down so you don’t forget it later. I even wrote down a name once in a dream so I would remember it when I woke up, even though I knew I couldn’t take it with me.

Good luck!

Thanks zrvera, will start up one of them! It’s somehing I’ve never done before so could work!
