Hey all,
I just got into training myself to lucid dream and thanks to the awesome help on this website last night i was finally successful. And it was awesome. I didn’t get to do much i was obsessed with flying( i got to glide mostly) but here is my problem. I kind of feel like i am still awake. Like i almost feel like i can feel my IRL body sleeping still. Last night i remember saying to myself in the dream this isn’t really as “vivid” as id like it to be.
Visually everything looked amazing is was more my senses were dulled. Now i was reading around in the forums and they were talking about increasing the lucidity of the dream via knobs or spinning or falling back. So my question to you all is. What do i need to take hold of the dream and experience it more fully? Increase lucidity?
Thank you for any help you can give and Happy Dreaming.
Welcome Jamat, to the wonderful forum of lucid dreaming !
You’re problem is you were to scared. Yes - too scared that it might go wrong. To get rid of that you should act and not think (don’t do that IRL ). Recall your goal and do it - focus only on your goal - let your RL body be and the awakening state. You could also close your eyes - keep them tight closed, press them together and tell yourself when you’ll open them your dream will be as vivid as RL. I know this is a lot easier said than done - and like everything about LD’ing it requires a lot of practice .
Have some goals - the more the better - and concentrate just on them and try to forget any other thought. Jumping through a mirror makes your LD more vivid and dream-like (personal experience )
It’s only a big matter of time - you’ll get over that. Oh, and you might want to visit this thread btw: ld4all.com/forum/viewtopic.p … order=asc&
